Requirement Engineer (m/f/d) Core banking

We are looking for a requirement engineer (m/f/d) Core banking (remote)

Start: ASAP

End: 31.08.2026

Location: Remote

Volume: Fulltime

Tasks:

• You are working in an agile setup (Core Banking Tribe)

• We are currently replacing our Core Banking system with a new solution. That solution must be integrated with the existing client IT landscape.

• Your activities will mainly be around system integration

• Understand and documenting the current integration (what data exactly, how often / when is

the interface running, is there a business logic part of the integration, …). This requires

analysis of existing documentation (if there is any), analysis of the existing system setup or

talking to colleagues which may know something…

• Reviewing the results with the business analyst and aligning on target integration approach

• Creating the functional specification for the target integration. This requires a basic

understanding of our target architecture, alignment with our solution architect / our lead

developers.

• Definition of test cases

• After the development, testing the system integration and documenting any identified

problems

• Depending on your workload / capabilities, we may assign you also to other requirements

engineering tasks around our new project.

Skills:

• A sound technical understanding through a successfully completed technical education

• Supplementary training and qualifications in the area of business analysis (IREB or similar)

would be an advantage

• Professional experience in requirements engineering or in a comparable function in the

financial sector (3+ years)

• Experience with concepts and techniques for system integrations

• Experience with automated testing would be an advantage

• Experience with Core Banking Systems would be an advantage

• Experience with Confluence, Jira and Zephyr

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as result-oriented and transparent way of working

• Problem solving skills, communication and assertiveness skills as well as team spirit

• Independent, result-oriented and structured way of working

• Structured working approach and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent English; German is appreciated, but not mandatory.
