We’re looking for a Data & Insights expert to join a thriving business that’s achieved consistent year-on-year growth. In this role, your insights will directly influence revenue, working on insights such as customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, particularly with Sales, Marketing, and Customer teams, you’ll uncover trends, measure sales and marketing effectiveness, and turn data into strategies that deliver measurable commercial impact.
About the Role
As the go-to insights expert, you’ll own the analytics process end-to-end, from gathering and structuring data to producing insights and delivering actionable recommendations. You’ll combine a commercial mindset with deep analytical skills to identify growth drivers and influence business decisions.
Your work will include:
- Analysing customer lifetime value, churn, and retention patterns
- Deep diving customer, sales and marketing data, providing measurable insights and recommendations
- Designing dashboards and predictive models that highlight high-value segments and forecast trends
This is a hands-on role where you will be deep diving into data and producing insights - you’ll blend data analytics, analysis, and visualisation with strong business acumen. You’ll be comfortable digging into datasets, spotting patterns, and communicating insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
Technically you'll be strong with SQL and able to independently pull and manipulate data needed to perform your insights. You will work along side a data engineer for the more complex engineering requirements, however this person does need to be technically proficient and able to own the end to end process - from pulling, manipulating and structuring data sets. If you're able to build pipelines and ETL's, that is a huge plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders across the business with a focus on Sales & Marketing
- Analyse customer behavior to identify churn risks and retention opportunities
- Identifying customer lifetime value and opportunities
- Build and maintain dashboards/reports (Tableau or Power BI)
- Develop models to forecast trends and identify growth opportunities
- Pull and manipulate data utilising SQL
- Ensure data quality and integrity across key datasets
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable analytics projects
- Present insights and recommendations that influence decision-making at all levels
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience building customer life value analysis
- Proven track record in sales, marketing, or customer analytics
- Experience utilising CRM data, Salesforce ideally but not required
- Skilled with Tableau or Power BI
- Strong SQL skills; Python or R experience a plus
- Someone who can take ownership of an end to end process
- Strong commercial acumen - understanding how data drives revenue growth
- Excellent communicator who can simplify complex findings
- Curious, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
