DevOps Engineer (Pega)

Activity :

• Absorb Knowledge: Learn the existing system architecture, codebase, tools, and development practices.
• Review Documentation: Validate existing technical documentation and flag any gaps or outdated content.
• Raise Issues: Proactively highlight blockers to knowledge transfer (e.g., missing info, unclear logic, inaccessible systems).
• Ensure Continuity: Maintain coding standards, version control practices, and agile routines to ensure smooth delivery.
• Identify Gaps: Detect missing logic, undocumented features, or technical debt that could impact future development.
• Support Team Onboarding: Share acquired knowledge with peers and help ramp up the rest of the team.
• Engage in Agile Ceremonies: Actively participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to stay aligned.
• Collaborate with Analysts & SMEs: Clarify requirements, validate assumptions, and ensure technical feasibility of user stories.
• Implement the functionalities required to support new process and workflow for counterparty management.

Experience required

• Minimum of 5 years working with Pega platform
• Ability to work with business and IT stakeholders
• Pega technology certification level :
• Lead System Architect (LSA) PEGA certified mandatory
• Senior System Architect (SSA) PEGA certified.

Hands-on Experience:

• Experience with Pega versions (from 8.8)
• Experience with case management, decisioning, integrations (REST/SOAP), and UI/UX in Pega
• Experience with event-Driven Architecture in Pega
• Experience with API Gateway and Kafka (or other real time data streaming platform)
• Experience with usage of Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud (PDC)
• Experience with Pega Deployment manager (PDM)
• Experience in Pega CLM KYC module is a plus
• Knowledge of Pega Best Practices:
• Guardrails compliance
• Reusability and modular design
• Performance tuning
• Implementing and/or using DevOps tools (CI/CD, Quality and security checks ...)
• Ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes
• Ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
