The Role:
Montonio has been growing steadily in 🇪🇪 Estonia and beyond, and with more merchants already on board, it’s time to help them unlock even more value from our expanding product lineup. That’s where you come in!
As a Customer Success Manager, you’ll be focused on driving revenue from our existing merchant base. This role is a unique combination of traditional sales, customer success, and operations: you’ll identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, support merchants in onboarding and integration, and act as their advocate within Montonio.
You’ll also work closely with our product and marketing teams to launch new solutions and ensure our merchants see measurable value. This is a hands-on role where you’ll directly influence how our merchants grow with Montonio - and how Montonio grows with them.
We believe in building long-term partnerships, not just transactions. Your role is to ensure that our merchants feel confident and excited to scale with Montonio - because when they thrive, so do we.

We offer a competitive OTE of 3000 EUR gross (1500 EUR base + 1500 EUR commission) with guaranteed commission of 750€ for the first 4 months to ensure your success right from the start. There is no cap in earning commissions - your earnings are directly tied to your performance, with no ceiling on your potential.

Don't get us wrong, AI is a wonderful tool and we use it in its many forms, but in this case we do need to see you and the way you answer these questions... and frankly, AI written text is pretty easy spot after a while 😎... so try to keep it original. 😁

Your Daily Missions
- Upselling & cross-selling – identify opportunities within our existing merchant base and introduce additional Montonio products that create more value.
- Consultative selling (with training & enablement) – you don’t need to be an e-commerce expert from day one. We’ll train you on the ins and outs of e-commerce and how Montonio’s tools help merchants scale. Your job is to use this knowledge to consult, advise, and guide merchants.
- Merchant lifecycle management – guide self-serve merchants through onboarding and integration, ensuring they’re set up for success.
- Product launches – work closely with product and marketing teams to roll out new solutions, bringing them to life with our merchant base.
- Voice of the merchant – gather feedback, identify pain points, and represent the needs of merchants to improve Montonio’s offerings.
- Previous experience in sales, customer management or business development.
- Clear expressions skills, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
- A merchant-first mindset: you understand how to uncover opportunities and add real value.
- Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding growth or upsell targets.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Language skills – excellent Estonian and English, spoken and written.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or e-commerce.
- Familiarity with sales and CRM tools (HubSpot is a plus).
- Experience rolling out new products to existing customer bases.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with product and marketing teams.
