Network Engineer – Huawei & DWDM Specialist - TG2508

Huawei Switches Install, configure, and maintain Huawei switches (S5720, S5731, CE 6863 Series, CloudEngine).

Design and implement LANWAN topologies with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

Manage VLANs, STP, Link Aggregation, and Layer 23 routing protocols (Static ,OSPF, BGP, etc.).

Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of network infrastructure.

Apply firmware and software updates for Huawei and Aruba switches.

Integrate Huawei switches and Aruba switches with other networking equipment (Juniper, Fortigate firewall etc.).

Conduct network assessments and provide technical documentation and reports. Respond to and resolve network incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.

Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure network operations.

Certification preferred: Huawei Certified ICT Associate

Professional (HCIA, HCIP). DWDM Design, configure, and deploy DWDM optical networks to support high-speed data transport.

Perform installation, commissioning, and testing of DWDM equipment.

Monitor and maintain optical network performance, ensuring minimal latency and downtime.

Troubleshoot and resolve network faults and performance issues.

Conduct software upgrades and patching on DWDM equipment.

Interface with vendors and third-party providers for support and service level agreements (SLAs)

Hands-on experience with DWDM platforms Experience with testing tools like OTDR, OSA, and BER testers.
