User Management Engineer - Access Management

Job Purpose:

The User Management Engineer is responsible for executing the daily operational tasks related to user accounts provisioning, access control administration, and maintenance of security controls across ENOC’s IT infrastructure. This role ensures the effective management of access and security tools such as EDR, antivirus, endpoint privilege management (EPM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and other security solutions. The role also involves ensuring compliance with ENOC’s cybersecurity standards and supporting IT projects with security requirements.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Manage and maintain security permissions, groups, access control lists, and user rights within ENOC’s IT infrastructure.
• Execute user account provisioning, updates, blocking, and removal in line with cybersecurity best practices and policies.
• Conduct periodic reviews of user accounts to verify their validity, usage, and compliance with security controls.
• Implement security measures for user access management, ensuring proper authorization, segregation of duties, and least privilege principles.
• Monitor and administer security tools such as EDR, antivirus, endpoint privilege management (EPM), DLP, PAM, and IAM solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ENOC’s cybersecurity controls and standards across all access management activities.
• Participate in IT projects and change management processes to ensure security controls are correctly implemented and tested.
• Support the implementation of security policies related to user access, including onboarding and offboarding procedures.
• Collaborate with Application Security Managers and other stakeholders to meet performance and security objectives.
• Stay informed about evolving cybersecurity threats and best practices to continually enhance security posture.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 3 years of experience in implementing and managing identity and access management (IAM) security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with access management tools and security solutions such as EDR, antivirus, EPM, DLP, PAM, and IAM platforms.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, compliance standards, and risk management.
