This is an exciting opportunity for Quant Data Scientist to join a rapidly growing investment management firm at the forefront of leveraging AI and Machine Learning to transform Investment Management private markets investments.

The business is building a scalable, cutting-edge AI systems to empower their investors with the most sophisticated data insights in the industry and leverage AI technology in Abu Dhabi, UAE and the region.

Key Responsibilities – Quant Data Scientist / Head of AI Engineering

• Drive innovation by designing and implementing scalable ML and AI solutions for investment due diligence.
• Own the firm’s data strategy, overseeing internal pipelines and third-party integrations to deliver actionable intelligence.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists and engineers in Abu Dhabi.
• Partner with Investment deal teams to deliver critical, time-sensitive analysis that shapes live investment decisions and alpha capture leveraging AI technology.
• Develop advanced methodologies, from feature engineering to deep learning, NLP, Gen-AI, and reinforcement learning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business teams, to expand the firms AI / Data Science integration and growth strategy.

Prerequisites– Quant Data Scientist / Head of AI Engineering

• 6+ years of experience in Data Science / AI Technology, within Private Markets / Investment Management industry, prior relatable industry experience is highly desirable.
• STEM Degree (Bachelor’s / MSc), with recent qualifications in AI and Data Science.
• Proven expertise in Python, SQL, and Cloud platforms (Snowflake Platform – Enterprise Data and AI platform being ideal).
• Strong track record in building AI and Quant Data systems from scratch in greenfield environments for Investment Management and alpha capture.
• Hands-on experience with advanced techniques: Deep Learning, NLP, Gen-AI, Reinforcement Learning, and Graph Neural Networks.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to bridge technical and investment teams and enable compelling narratives from complex data to AI Data Science Technology solutions.
