Frontend Developer

Front End Developers with strong Angular skills are wanted by a well known FinTech Software Company, working on a suite of new Insurance focused products.

You will play a key role in designing, building and optimising our Angular front end by partnering with fellow engineers to keep it fast, accessible, maintainable and secure. You’ll mentor peers, champion best practices and lean delivery, and collaborate with wider teams to turn business insight into intuitive product features.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Angular and modern front-end technologies to deliver intuitive, high-performing interfaces that bring complex insurance workflows to life. You’ll contribute to new feature development, improve existing UI components, and help drive design and usability across the platform.

The team have a remote first mindset, often meeting up 1 day a month in the modern Central London hub.

Overview:

• 3+ years building large-scale Angular (v12+) applications.
• A keen eye for design paired with expert-level CSS knowledge and attention to detail.
• Thrive in a highly cooperative environment - pair/mob programming, sharing knowledge, and keeping dialogue clear, concise and constructive.
• Bonus points for any experience working within a C# environments and creating and interacting with RESTful APIs.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular 17+, including knowledge of its latest features and best practices
• Proven track record of delivering clean, maintainable, and well-tested Angular code in a commercial environment.
• Experience working with state management libraries in large-scale applications - ideally NgRx.
• Confidence in writing unit and end-to-end tests, with a proactive approach to ensuring code quality.
