Jr Project Manager

Our client, a leading cosmetic company in New York City, is seeking a Freelance Junior Project Manager to support their portfolio of beauty brands. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in project management within the beauty and creative industries.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing project timelines, schedules, and task trackers
• Monitor project progress, proactively flagging risks or delays
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather assets and information
• Manage project request intake and ensure creative briefs are complete before routing to the team
• Streamline communication by providing clear updates and next steps
• Provide administrative and scheduling support for project-related meetings, reviews, and approvals
• Partner closely with the Director to ensure priorities align with business goals
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or related role (internships welcome)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in beauty, fashion, or consumer goods
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) preferred
