Senior Node.js Software Engineer (Forge)

Our client is a leading provider of Atlassian enterprise services, specializing in use-case-specific appliances, strategic rollouts for large-scale deployments, enterprise installations and upgrades, SLA-based support, and remote system monitoring. Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, they are a trusted referral from Atlassian, delivering innovative solutions for enhanced collaboration and productivity.

In cooperation with our client, we focus on migrating Atlassian Marketplace applications from Connect to Forge. This transition enhances security, scalability, and performance, leveraging Forge's advanced capabilities. Our goal is to streamline processes and deliver superior solutions, aligning with cutting-edge technologies and industry standards.

IF YOU ARE

• Experienced with 5+ years in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Ready to learn and develop applications using Forge and Connect Atlassian Plugin frameworks
• Proficient in Node.js and related frameworks
• Capable of reading the code in Java
• Strong in delivering significant impact on departmental results through operational targets
• Competent in working independently with limited supervision
• Successful in managing entire projects or processes within the job area
• Effective in English communication for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Aware of frontend applications on React (as a bonus)
• Familiar with AWS services (as an advantage)
  
  
  

AND YOU WANT TO

• Perform migration from different Atlassian Marketplace applications from Connect Forge
• Develop new features on Node.js
• Ensure the correct use and execution of requirements gathering and analysis
• Perform specialized and complex tasks surrounding programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write moderate and multidimensional software code
• Develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools
• Examine and identify the key areas of the core principles of software development and innovation
