Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Support the Institution in cloud automation projects in collaboration with international stakeholders.
• Provide technical support for large-scale exercises, simulations, and related events organized by the institution and partner organizations.
• Contribute to the development of software automation code using Terraform, Ansible, and/or Helm for these events.
• Perform cloud administration tasks on AWS (with GitOps practices) and across multiple Microsoft Azure tenants.
• Contribute to the planning and organizational aspects of upcoming experimentation activities.
• Participate in bi-weekly project meetings.

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong expertise in IT automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within cloud environments, with hands-on experience in tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
• Practical experience with containerization technologies and orchestrators, including Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Solid experience in Linux and Windows system administration.
• Proficiency in one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure). Related Professional Cloud Certification will be considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, particularly in designing landing zones and cloud network architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and cloud networking technologies.
• Experience working with cryptographic technologies, including key management (PKI), encryption algorithms (e.g., AES), and encryption in transit (TLS).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, methodologies, and toolchains.
• Strong documentation skills, with the ability to produce detailed technical specifications and architecture diagrams.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English is required (B2 level).
