Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack

At Voyado, we develop a cloud service for e-commerce sites. Our engine is developed in-house and from the ground up, to be able to do deep analysis on millions of products, all while maintaining response times of 10’s of milliseconds, and delivering world-class experiences online.

About The Role And Day-to-day

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Knowledge Onboarding team, you’ll be working in a cross-functional group with Knowledge Engineers, QAs and developers. Right now, the focus is on integrating AI and LLMs into the team’s workflows - all to automate the heavy, repetitive tasks and let humans focus on what they’re truly needed for.

We’ve already automated some of the simpler things, like translations, but the next step is much bigger. You’ll be part of building and expanding an AI-driven system that automates the ontology expansion process, which is core to our product. A new customer can come with 100,000+ products - instead of having humans go through each one, our hypothesis is that we could use LLMs to sort, interpret and match that data to the right place in our ontology, leaving our Knowledge Engineers to fine-tune and finalize the work

We work in empowered teams with a true DevOps mindset, which means you’ll be involved in everything from discovery and prototyping to infrastructure, testing and deployment. You won’t just be writing code - you’ll explore, research, challenge ideas, and shape solutions that impact both how we work and the quality we deliver.

Some of the technologies you'd be working with: Java, AWS, Terraform, Github & Github Actions, Docker, Typescript & Angular.

So, who are you?

We’re looking for someone curious, driven and fearless - someone who doesn’t mind taking initiative, diving into new technologies, or leading the way through the unknown. You’ll need to be comfortable owning your work, setting direction when there’s no Product Manager, and collaborating with your team to make decisions together.

We believe you:

• Have 5 + years in Java development, or similar.
• Have experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms (e.g. S3, ECS, RDS)
• Are confident working in a full DevOps setup, taking responsibility for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and monitoring
• Have worked with tools like GitHub Actions, Docker, and Terraform (or are eager to learn)
• Write tests and value clean, maintainable code
• And, perhaps most importantly, you have a true passion for what you do!
  
  

Bonus points if you have experience in NLP, working with LLMs and prompt engineering!
