Our challenge

We are looking for a React Developer to help build tools and portals that empower internal developers. Strong React, Node.js, and TypeScript experience is required; familiarity with Backstage is a plus.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $110k – CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain developer-facing tools to improve API adoption and developer productivity.
• Develop front-end interfaces using React and integrate with back-end services (Node.js, TypeScript).
• Collaborate with API teams on developer onboarding, documentation, and tooling.
• Implement scalable, maintainable solutions following best practices.

Requirements:

• React (5+ years), Node.js, TypeScript.
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and developer tooling.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with Backstage or similar developer portals.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and API documentation workflows.
