About the Role:

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Spring Boot Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. This is a hybrid role based in Amsterdam, offering the opportunity to work on innovative, large-scale distributed systems with a strong focus on performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust applications using Core Java and Spring Boot
• Design and implement secure and scalable RESTful APIs
• Work on event-driven architecture with hands-on experience using Kafka
• Collaborate on cloud-native solutions using Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Ensure high-quality code through unit testing and integration testing
• Drive best practices in coding, architecture, and design
• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery for critical projects

Nice to Have:

• Experience with OpenAPI
• Functional knowledge of banking or online payments and acquiring systems
