About the Client

We are supporting one of our clients, a leading international financial institution, in strengthening its technology teams. The teams operate as a global hub, delivering business-critical applications and platforms to support trading and risk activities across worldwide markets.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced C# Developer to contribute to both frontend and backend development. The role involves enhancing user interfaces, implementing a new server-side architecture, and ensuring high-performance handling of large volumes of financial data.

You will work closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and cross-functional development teams in an agile environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of driving technical improvements while ensuring smooth collaboration across international teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop new features and enhancements for both UI and backend services.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, best practices, and testing standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and production support.
• Actively contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and agile ceremonies.
• Provide regular progress updates and escalate risks/issues when necessary.
• Work with onshore and offshore teams across multiple locations.
• Support production (L3) and maintain non-production environments for testing.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including evening coverage for US markets and occasional weekend release support.

Key Skills & Experience

Must-have:

• 10+ years of experience in .NET / C# development.
• Strong expertise with the Microsoft .NET Framework.
• Experience with UI optimization and UI test automation.
• Proficiency in using profiling tools to optimize CPU and memory usage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with traders, quants, and cross-functional teams.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and propose constructive solutions.

Nice-to-have:

• Prior experience in the financial services domain.
• Familiarity with large-scale, data-intensive applications.
• Experience working in distributed, global agile teams.
