Freelance Technical Solutions Engineer – 6-Month Project (Helsinki)

We’re looking for a data-oriented fullstack developer to join a 6-month freelance project based in Helsinki. This is a hands-on opportunity to support and enhance existing systems, contribute to data quality assurance, and implement new features in a technically complex environment. The company name will remain confidential, but rest assured, you’ll be working with a forward-thinking team on impactful data challenges.

What You’ll Do

• Support and improve existing Python and TypeScript scripts and pipelines.
• Clean, match, and import customer data (Excel/text files) into our system.
• Work with SQL databases to extract, validate, and update data.
• Implement new features in a TypeScript-based platform.
• Use AI-powered tools for data quality assurance and enrichment.
• Collaborate on modelling and validating fund holding data.
• Contribute to custom reporting and exports for investor clients.

Tech Stack

• Python (Jupyter Notebook level and backend)
• SQL (critical for data extraction and validation)
• TypeScript (platform and feature development)
• Familiarity with LLM pipelines, REST APIs, and basic scripting.
