Data Scientist

I am currently searching for an experience Data Scientist to join a valued client of mine within in the financial sector based in Brussels.

In this role, you will leverage your data science expertise to analyze complex datasets, build predictive models, and uncover insights that drive data-informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Build, train, and deploy predictive and machine learning models to address specific business challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and optimize business processes.
• Present findings and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in data science and machine learning techniques to continuously improve analyses.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist (freelance experience preferred).
• Proficiency in data science and machine learning tools, such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
• Strong skills in statistical analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and ability to convey complex findings clearly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
