Frontend Developer

We’re looking for a C#.NET Developer to join an established project team on an initial 6-month contract (with potential for extension). This role will focus on finalising the delivery of changes to a large enterprise portal, followed by ongoing support, optimisation, and enhancement of the platform. You may also be engaged in other Microsoft-related project work as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework 6.
• Write efficient SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
• Enhance front-end components using jQuery and Knockout.js to deliver responsive, interactive user experiences.
• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and developers to ensure alignment with requirements and standards.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Ensure all code meets best practice standards for security, performance, and accessibility.

Position Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with C#.NET development.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework 6.
• Solid experience with SQL Server (including complex query optimisation).
• Front-end development skills with jQuery and Knockout.js.
• Experience working in agile teams using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
