Functional Analyst

Are you a Functional Analyst who loves turning complex business needs into elegant technical solutions?

We’re looking for someone for our client's team on a 6-month contract to help drive the design and implementation of various Core Platform solutions.

This role sits at the sweet spot between business and technology. You will be partnering with stakeholders to shape requirements, guiding engineers to build scalable solutions while ensuring delivery hits the mark.

What you’ll be doing

• Work closely with IT customers to understand both functional and non-functional requirements, compliance obligations, and business needs.
• Translate these into clear, actionable technical requirements and user stories.
• Validate solution designs against established architecture.
• Liaise with customers during testing to ensure solutions meet expectations.
• Support the creation of system documentation across design, development, and implementation.
• Collaborate in an agile team environment that values innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

• Strong background in solution design within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Technical knowledge across API design, Azure, Git, GitHub Actions.

Bonus points if you have prior experience with:

• Programming languages: Java, Angular, C# .Net, COBOL
• Databases: DB2, Oracle
