The Role

As our Senior Security Lead, you will be the driving force behind our security function. You’ll lead a team of three security professionals, shaping our roadmap, defining best practices, and ensuring security is embedded into every aspect of our organization. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations to maintain a strong security posture while enabling innovation and growth.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of three security engineers/analysts.
• Define and implement security strategy, policies, and frameworks across the organization.
• Drive risk management, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with Engineering to design secure systems, infrastructure, and processes.
• Own and manage compliance initiatives (ISO27001, SOC2, GDPR, etc.).
• Stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies, proactively improving our defenses.
• Report directly to the CTO.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in security roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Hands-on technical expertise across infrastructure, application, and cloud security (AWS or GCP experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A pragmatic mindset: able to balance strong security with the fast-moving needs of a scale-up.
• Passion for mentoring and developing people.
