Frontend Developer (with Design) | Fully remote or hybrid in Bristol | Salary Range: £40-55k

Are you an accomplished Frontend Developer who also loves getting involved in all things design?

After building out their product range in recent years, my client has recently created a specialist Frontend Development function to ensure they have the very best frontend & user experience for their end-users! They’re now looking for someone to join that team as they grow.

They’re the number one company in their field, offering a comprehensive suite of products far beyond their competitors. They also have an amazing customer-base and significant backing – they’re going places!

They use Vue.js on their frontend, but they’re agnostic when it comes to which frontend framework you have used in the past – it’s far more important that you enjoy working across both design & frontend development and are open to working with Vue.js moving forwards.

You’ll benefit from a good amount of responsibility but will also get huge support from the other members of their engineering team (the team is circa 10 engineers in total).

They have a central hub of developers in Bristol, so it would be ideal if you are happy to travel into the office occasionally but it’s fine to be remote if that works better for you.

I’ve met some of the team myself and they are so nice & supportive – it’s a great place to develop your skills and grow your career.

What you’ll need

Proficient across both Frontend Development & Design

Experience with any mainstream frontend framework (Vue.js, React or Angular) but happy coding in Vue.js moving forwards

Preferably you’ll have commercial experience of wireframing, but your experience can be from personal projects as an alternative

Experience of conducting user research, or excellent interpersonal skills and an interest in developing this skillset

Experience of using Figma or a similar tool

A background in either an agency or a product company

A proactive nature and the ability to work in an autonomous environment
