Large Corporate Credits and Project Finance Senior Manager

We are looking for head of CIB Large Corporates Credits who is willing to join CCIB Group at TEB. Reporting to Corporate Groups Project Finance and Structured Finance Director, the Manager of CIB Large Corporates Credits is in charge of all aspects related to commercial credits for the 20 CIB Pilots in Turkiye, managing a team of 5 analysts. The position entails:

• Pro-active contribution to CCIB Turkiye strategic decisions, notably as to balance sheet allocations.
• Representation business/CIB Turkiye in all related committees – local and HQs.
• Key-in with all the offshore stakeholders – delegation holders, metiers, Risk.

Large corporate credits team invariably work with TEB and BNPP teams in debt capital markets, fixed income and other product groups. Client portfolio is extremely dynamic and interesting (Large conglomerates active in many industries, the largest with over USD40bn in combined turnover) and use the full range of banking products from trade to DCM. In addition Turkiye’s emerging market status includes focus areas linked to FX and hedging, country risk, etc, important both in terms of risk and in terms of business opportunities.

Main responsibilities include:

• Responsibility of a dedicated portfolio of TEB CIB Clients (Top 20 largest Turkish conglomerates) for all financing transactions and credit aspects
• All aspects of credit due diligence (financial analysis, projections, client interviews, rating analysis)
• Credit package write-up for transactions and annual review
• Presentation to the relevant credit committees – local and BNP Paribas.
• Contribute to CCIB Turkey strategy at client and portfolio level
• Ability to form and represent a strong view on overall risk assessment, opportunities and strategy to be deployed on the portfolio both at annual review time and on specific deals
• Acting as a coordinator between local and global business parties for transactions
• Contribute to adhoc requests and transactions
• Contribute to the team evolution
• Coach junior staff
• Promote best-in-class practice
