Our products are built to expand accessibility, performance, and control—unlocking new methods of digital communication and interface design.
As a Software Engineer on this team, you’ll help create cutting-edge mobile applications and interaction frameworks that respond to unconventional input systems. You'll work closely with internal teams and early-access users to translate novel interface concepts into reliable, high-performance experiences.
This is a fast-moving, deeply collaborative environment that blends software engineering with human factors, signal processing, and applied research. You’ll contribute directly to a product that has clear, life-changing impact—without sacrificing performance, polish, or user experience.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and build native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android) for real-time control and communication
- Work closely with users and internal teams to rapidly prototype, test, and refine new interaction models
- Drive development of core features from concept to deployment, with emphasis on responsiveness and reliability
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless integration of novel input technologies into software systems
- Contribute to engineering culture through mentorship, code reviews, and technical leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience developing high-performance native apps using Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java
- Deep understanding of concurrency, memory management, and network communication at the OS level
- Track record of shipping user-facing applications with fast iteration cycles
- Passion for designing elegant, maintainable, and performant codebases
- Ability to adapt quickly, solve complex problems, and work across disciplines
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Have
- Experience building for non-traditional or alternative input systems
- Background in assistive technology, accessibility-focused design, or novel UX/UI
- Familiarity with signal processing or low-latency systems
- Experience working in multidisciplinary, research-informed environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary Range: $150,000 – $281,000 USD (commensurate with experience)
- Competitive equity compensation
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance (PPO)
- Flexible time off and paid holidays
- Parental leave, commuter benefits, and daily meals provided
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Opportunity to work on products with real-world impact and global relevance
- High-growth team with strong emphasis on ownership and collaboration
If you're passionate about building intuitive technology that expands human capability—and want to help shape the future of digital interaction—we’d love to talk.
