Project Manager, Store Design


Are you passionate about driving impactful projects and bringing structure, clarity and energy to project execution? We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly responsible Project Manager to independently lead store design projects such as integration of new concept elements and store build-outs.


This role requires strong execution skills, a high level of attention to detail, and proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering store design projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while ensuring consistent follow-up on all project activities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Take independent responsibility for managing the full rollout of store design projects in accordance with company manuals and construction standards.
  • Manage projects schedules from design to procurement through to group level rollout
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including internal teams such as operations, marketing, store service and assortment teams
  • Liaise with suppliers of store environments, such as shop fittings and signage, and designers and consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Supervise the production of fittings and technical product development
  • Supervise on site activities with consistent follow-up to resolve issues.
  • Ensure all projects meet functional, quality, sustainability, and budget requirements, with a focus on cost-efficient solutions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and contractors for store build-outs.
  • Provide clear communication and follow-up with all stakeholders to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Maintain detailed reporting on store design projects and schedules, costs, and progress milestones.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail environment, store construction, rollout, or retail fit-out project execution.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Proven track record of independently managing large-scale projects and multi-site retail rollout programs.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in shop fitting, construction methods, and vendor coordination.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana
  • Ability to manage multiple store projects across various regions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of retail construction standards and sustainability practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, including fluency in both spoken and written English.

This role is based either in Käpylä, Helsinki or at our Stockholm office in Solna. We often have dogs in the office; therefore, the work might not be suitable for a person who is allergic to pets. The role involves occasional travel for site visits, supplier meetings and project oversight.
