We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our client's team. Our client is a Swedish multinational company working in the media space.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for:

• Cloud Security Operations: Working hands-on with IT security in cloud environments, specifically AWS and Kubernetes. This includes deep dives into networking, logging, and other critical security configurations.
• Office IT Security: Securing our internal office IT infrastructure, encompassing networks, firewalls, and Microsoft 365 (including Conditional Access and Intune).
• Security in Code: Addressing security aspects within our codebase, ensuring secure development practices and identifying vulnerabilities.
• Practical Security Implementation: Applying your expertise to secure infrastructure, systems, and applications in a practical, operational setting.

What you'll bring:

• Proven hands-on experience in IT security, particularly within cloud (AWS, Kubernetes) and enterprise IT environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and logging best practices for security.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 security features, including Conditional Access and Intune.
• Experience with firewall management and network security principles.
• Some programming skills to work with security aspects in code.
• Demonstrable experience in securing infrastructure, systems, and applications in a practical, operational capacity.
• A "doer" mentality – you are comfortable with technical implementation and problem-solving.
