User Experience Designer

One of our Federal government clients is seeking to engage User Experience Designer

Role: User Experience Designer

Location of work: Canberra / Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane (work 2 days from office and 3 days from home each week)

Length of contract: 12 Months

Contract extensions: 12 Months extension

Security Clearance: Australian Citizen with Baseline security clearance.

Overview:

Provision of Specified Personnel on a time and materials basis in the following role: UX Designer SFIA 6, to undertake tasks that include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Produce UX artefacts including wireframes, interactive prototypes (including low and
• high fidelity), customer journey flowcharts, storyboards and personas working closely
• with the analysts;
• Develop mockup of the website and interfaces that the Application Developers can
• consume.
• Provide user centred design solutions that are WCAG 2.0 compliant;
• Demonstrate ability to develop business solutions through the System Development
• Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices and processes to meet the
• Deliverables as a UX/UI Developer;
• Demonstrate experience in User Experience design:
• Interpret user requirements / user stories and produce UX artefacts including
• wireframes, customer journey flowcharts, storyboards and personas incorporating
• concepts that support WCAG 2.0 compliance; and
• Facilitate user experience and usability testing workshops;
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills and capacity to communicate effectively with all
• stakeholders
• Manage productive stakeholder relationships.
• Regular reporting against performance and effort; and
• Contribute towards knowledge and skills transfer.
