About the role


As the HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting PointsBet’s employees by assisting with a wide range of HR functions. Working in the HR team, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment process, undertaking HR administration, and contributing to key people’s initiatives. This role will also involve supporting employees onboarding and offboarding, supporting staff events, supporting office management tasks and providing HR administration support to employees and managers across the organization.


Responsibilities


  • Providing end-to-end recruitment administration support, including job postings and candidate screening
  • Supporting employee onboarding and offboarding processes end to end
  • Delivering timely and accurate administration support to the PointsBet HR team (including HR and Office management)
  • Assisting in the delivery of key people initiatives focused on employee engagement and wellbeing
  • Updating and maintaining the HRIS (human resource information system), LMS (learning resource management system), and recruitment platforms
  • Assisting with employment contracts, changes in terms, and business policy implementation.
  • Regular reporting on HR systems, including monitoring and reporting on leave liabilities and other compliance-related metrics to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Maintaining up-to-date employee data to support HR initiatives and reporting.
  • Assisting with developing internal staff communications
  • Assisting in the smooth and efficient running of the office
  • Assisting the HR Coordinator with monthly and fortnightly pay runs, including providing coverage during periods of leave to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.


Required Skills and Qualifications


  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to engage effectively whilst building strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, HRIS systems, Culture Amp, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is preferred but not essential
  • Completion of (or in progress) a formal HR qualification with industry relevant experience (preferred)
  • This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, driven, and team-oriented, with a positive attitude and an eagerness to take on a diverse range of projects and challenges.
