HR Generalist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, employee relationship, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
• Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process.
• Conduct effective HR practices to businesses, including but not limited to staffing, employee relations, performance management, communication & other related activities.
• Assist with payroll and benefits administration.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities
• Maintain the presentation of the office environment, and escalating or rectifying any issues.
• Undertake office management projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
• 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
• Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, problem solving, time management, and organisational skills, attention to detail and good judgement.
• A team player that would be able to work under pressure and can modify style in order to work effectively with a diverse pool of employees.
• Strong understand of Australian employment law (including Modern Awards, Fair Work Act, State based OHS laws etc).
