Job Description

We are looking for an experienced software engineer who will be part of a passionate and innovative iOS team focused on delivering a world-class mobile shopping experienceby building cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate would sign and implement new systems and features. The candidate would be comfortable with the process of refactoring and consider it a necessary part of engineering. The candidate will ensure that software deliverables comply with quality standards and are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and build innovative, scalable, fault-tolerant iOS applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to deliver seamless experiences.
• Write, test, and refine code to ensure compatibility, stability, and performance.
• Research and adopt new iOS tech stacks to drive product transformation.
• Guide and design modular architectures for scalability and maintainability.
• Ensure compliance with defined engineering processes and best practices.
• Expand and enhance existing app features to align with evolving business needs.
• Establish automation processes to improve developer efficiency.
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of software development/programming experience.
• Strong foundation in computer architecture, operating systems, data structures & algorithms.
• Hands-on expertise in iOS application development using Swift.
• Experience in design patterns and architectures (MVVM, MVP, Clean).
• Familiarity with automated Unit/UI testing.
• Exposure to CI/CD platforms (Github Actions, Bitrise, CircleCI).
• Knowledge of Fastlane and other automation tools.
• Strong understanding of iOS app delivery lifecycle (certificates, provisioning profiles, auth keys).
  
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience integrating Analytics SDKs and building abstraction layers.
• Familiarity with CoreData, RxSwift, Camera & Image frameworks, AR/VR.
• Proficiency in Xcode Instruments to identify performance issues.
• Knowledge of app optimisation techniques (launch time, app size reduction).
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field from a reputed institute.
