Social Media Designer - Freelacer

A creative freelancer is required to support Events services with both graphic design and video editing tailored for social media platforms. The role involves developing visual identities, designing branded posts and stories, and producing engaging short-form videos for Reels, TikTok, and Instagram Stories. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of branding, an eye for aesthetics, and the ability to adapt content across multiple formats while maintaining consistency. This is a part-time contract role with the potential for ongoing collaboration on diverse projects for small businesses and personal brands.

Responsibilities

• Design logos, brand visuals, and cohesive visual identities for small businesses.
• Create engaging social media posts and stories optimized for Instagram and TikTok.
• Edit dynamic short-form video content for Reels, Stories, and TikTok.
• Apply motion graphics elements such as animated text, transitions, and effects.
• Utilize AI-based templates or video effects where applicable to enhance content.
• Ensure brand consistency across all visual outputs.
• Collaborate on creative concepts while working independently on execution.
• Deliver high-quality assets that align with the unique style of each client.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience in graphic design and social media content creation.
• Proficiency in design and video tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar.
• Basic motion graphics skills, including animated text and transitions.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design or video editing tools.
• Strong understanding of branding principles and ability to create cohesive visual identities.
• Previous experience working with small businesses or personal brands is highly desirable.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and reliability in meeting deadlines.
