Position: Mid Level Cisco Network Engineer

Location: Antwerp, Belgium (Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office)

Languages Required: Dutch + English (C1 level at least for both)

Technical and Soft Skills:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer working with Cisco network infrastructure and firewall management.
  • Experience configuring and managing networks within Infoblox to ensure optimal DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.
  • Perform day-to-day operational tasks on Cisco switches, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of Cisco switches ( deployment, upgrades, and decommissioning) to ensure network stability and compliance.
  • Manage and optimize firewall policies, primarily on Check Point, with potential future involvement in Palo Alto (currently minimal).
  • Integrate and configure Access Points (APs) using Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) to support wireless network expansion and stability.
  • Hands-on experience in managing network configurations and a solid understanding of network security principles
  • Proactive mindset and problem-solver
