For our client, a market leading international company with multiple sites and data centers across Europe, we are looking for an experienced WAN Network Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and operation of wide area networks, ensuring secure and stable connectivity between countries, data centers, and the internet.

Your Responsibilities

• Administration of routers, switches, and firewalls
• Configuration and operation of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Management of WAN connections, VPNs, and site-to-site tunnels
• Ensuring connectivity between international sites and data centers
• Troubleshooting and optimization of network performance

Your Profile

• Several years of hands-on experience in enterprise or provider networks
• Strong knowledge of routing (BGP, OSPF) and WAN technologies
• Experience with VPNs and network security
• Generalist mindset (routers + switches + WAN)
• Fluency in English as well as willingness to learn German is required.
