🦀Job Opening: RUST Developer (Contract, Remote, EU) – ZK Proof Project

Rate: €25/hour

Type: Full-time / Contract

Location: Anywhere in the EU

About the Role

We're looking for a talented and motivated RUST Developer to join our team on a contract basis. You'll be building core components for a cutting-edge project in the Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZK) space, working alongside senior engineers and AI/crypto experts.

This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about secure, privacy-preserving technology and wants to work on ambitious, real-world ZK applications.

What You’ll Do

Design, implement, and maintain performant backend services and cryptographic protocols in Rust

Work closely with our product and engineering teams to deliver features related to ZK proofs and verifiable computation

Integrate existing cryptographic libraries and contribute to open-source ZK frameworks as needed

Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code (with an emphasis on security and performance)

Collaborate in a remote-first, async-friendly environment

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Rust (2+ years hands-on experience)

Experience with cryptography, ideally Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), SNARKs/STARKs, or related protocols

Experience building production-ready backend services

Familiarity with common Rust libraries and async programming

Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and code review

Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a distributed team

Based in the European Union (for legal/contracting purposes)

Nice to Have

Prior contributions to open-source ZK projects or blockchain platforms

Experience with Web3, Ethereum, or similar decentralized tech stacks

Familiarity with DevOps for Rust-based projects (CI/CD, Docker, cloud, etc.)

Interest in AI, privacy tech, and data security
