Network Solutions Architect

Position Title: Network & Solutions Architect

Location: Luxembourg (Onsite 80%, near-site 20% on weekly basis)

Duration: long-term, till end of project 2026 (possibility of extension)

Languages: French would be an asset and English

Work mode: Hybrid

Job Description:

• Support the development and enhancement of enterprise network architecture, including Wi-Fi, cloud, and data center infrastructure.

• Assist in the delivery of projects involving network upgrades, virtualization, and system integration.

• Evaluate and assess architectures using established frameworks, ensuring alignment with performance and reliability requirements.

• Contribute to designing robust, high-performance IT solutions based on emerging technologies.

• Advise on technology and tool selection through research and suitability assessments.

• Participate in transformation programs by helping to size and scope technical solutions.

• Collaborate with senior management to influence decisions and align architecture with strategic goals.

• Support the strategic direction and continuous improvement of the organization’s architecture practices.

Requirements:

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Masters' degree in an ICT related domain or a relevant field.

• At least 8 years of experience in network security engineering and administration.

• Hands-on experience with DDI solutions (EfficientIP preferred, or similar DNS/DHCP/IPAM platforms).

• Proficiency in managing and configuring data networks, including LAN, WAN, MPLS, Wi-Fi, and cloud networking environments.

• Strong knowledge of IP and MPLS protocols and related technologies.

• Experience with routing and switching hardware and software solutions.

• Understanding of network traffic segregation techniques (e.g., VLANs, VRFs, MPLS, trunking).

• Experience with Wi-Fi solutions designed for large enterprise environments.

• Knowledge of network redundancy and high availability protocols and architectures.

• Familiarity with network application acceleration and performance optimization solutions.

• Ability to optimize network resources for efficiency and scalability.

• Experience with network management and monitoring tools and platforms.

• Understanding of interconnection between on-premises infrastructure and cloud service providers.

• Knowledge of internal networking architectures within major cloud providers.

• Awareness of cloud-based security architectures and best practices.

• Excellent English language skills(C-level, written and spoken).

Desirable:

• French language skills would be considered a plus.
