As a Senior Payroll & HR Operations Specialist Europe, you will report to the Head of HR Service Delivery as well as the local HR lead. You will be responsible for managing payroll and HR administration across multiple European jurisdictions. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR operations professional with experience in regulated environments and cross-border teams.

Key Responsibilities


Payroll & Compliance


  • Coordinate monthly payroll processes in collaboration with external payroll providers
  • Prepare, review, and validate payroll files and salary payments
  • Implement robust controls to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
  • Reconcile payroll data with accounting and bank records
  • Stay up to date with changes in payroll legislation, social security, and tax regulations


Employee Lifecycle & HR Administration


  • Manage the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, transfers, international mobility, and offboarding
  • Work closely with internal teams on compensation, benefits, and mobility matters
  • Draft and manage employment-related documentation
  • Administer employee benefits (e.g. health insurance, pension schemes, company cars)
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for HR-related activities


HR Systems & Data Management


  • Maintain and update employee data in SAP HR or similar systems
  • Produce HR reports and conduct data checks across European entities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and regulatory standards (CSSF, BAFIN, MRT, etc.)

Profile Sought


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in payroll and HR operations, preferably in the financial services sector
  • Proficient in SAP HCM (knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is a plus)
  • Fluent in English and French; German is a strong advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Solid data analytics skills are a strong asset
