We are looking for an Data Scientist!

Responsabilities:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java/Backend applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems.
• Delivering high availability and performance.
• Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
• Ensuring designs comply with specifications.
• Be an active member of our backend communities.

Requirements:

• Up to 15 years of experience as Data.
• Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and with global teams
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence tools (valued)
• Commitment to quality delivery
• Experience in strategic projects (valued).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in developing machine learning projects (Python, R, or SAS), deploying models to production environments, and managing model lifecycles.
• Experience in machine learning frameworks. (E.g., PyTorch and Tensorflow)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (MS Azure, AWS, or GCP), Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management solutions.
• Significant experience in developing Artificial Intelligence systems, including knowledge of data pipelines, machine learning models, and MLOps practices.
• Experience in managing data/AI projects or initiatives.
• Ability to analyze and structure requirements, with a critical eye and a results-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of Responsible AI, Data Governance, or technology regulation, with previous experience in regulated contexts being an asset.
• Strong communication and synthesis skills, including the preparation of executive materials (QBRs, presentations, reports); experience in facilitating sessions, communities, and forums is a differentiating factor.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team (POs, Tech Leads, Data Scientists, business stakeholders) and manage priorities in complex environments.
• Good level of english.
