DevOps Engineer

Do you have 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer? We are looking for a colleague to join our team in Götenborg.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Experience: Proven experience overseeing the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle.
• Cloud: Expertise in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
• Tools & Technologies: Platforms: Service Fabric, Kubernetes, Docker
• Scripting: PowerShell, bash, Python.
• Languages: C#, Python, bash.
• Databases: Mongo, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch.
• IaC: Bicep, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Monitoring: OpenSearch, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Work Arrangement: Must be local to the Götenborg region, as the role is 100% on-site
• Languages: English(fluent), Swedish is a plus.

Job Description:

• End-to-End Software Delivery: Oversee the entire software delivery lifecycle, working with stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment of goals and operational needs.
• CI/CD: Build, maintain, and optimize the CI/CD pipeline for seamless and automated code integration, testing, and delivery.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage and provision infrastructure using code, preferably with tools like Bicep or Terraform, to ensure consistent and scalable environments.
• Monitoring & Observability: Set up real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like OpenSearch and the ELK stack to maintain application health and performance.
• DevSecOps: Integrate security practices into the development cycle by automating security checks and implementing access controls.
• Automation: Drive automation across multiple areas, including build, deployment, and testing to increase speed and reduce errors.
• Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between development, operations, QA, and security teams.
• Performance Optimization & Cost Management: Continuously analyze system performance and optimize cloud costs, particularly within the Microsoft Azure environment.
• Resilience & Disaster Recovery: Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
• Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans and conduct postmortem analyses to identify root causes and preventive actions.
• Cultural Transformation: Promote a DevOps mindset of continuous improvement, shared responsibility, and innovation.
