We are looking for an experienced Asset Manager (10+ years, construction sector / large infrastructure management firms) to lead our equipment, fleet, and facilities management in Qatar.

Job Location: Wakrah, Qatar (Onsite, Full time)


Salary: Negotiable + Transport + Accommodation


Job Requirements:


  • Minimum 10 years’ proven experience in asset management within a construction, civil engineering, or large-scale infrastructure environment.
  • University degree in engineering, construction management, or relevant discipline; advanced certifications in asset or facility management are highly valued.
  • Deep knowledge of modern asset management practices (including ISO 55000), equipment lifecycle, fleet management, and maintenance planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise with asset management systems, tracking software, and data analytics tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; experience leading diverse technical teams.
  • Familiarity with safety (HSE), environmental, and contractual regulations applicable in Qatar or the GCC.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Lead the strategic management of all company-owned and leased assets, focusing on construction plants, heavy equipment, fleet, and site facilities.
  • Develop, implement, and refine asset management strategies, policies, and routines to maximize asset value, minimize downtime, and optimize lifecycle costs.
  • Oversee asset acquisition, allocation, on-site deployment, movement between projects, maintenance, renewal, and end-of-life disposal.
  • Analyze asset performance data to inform maintenance schedules, utilization rates, risk assessments, and necessary upgrades or replacements.
  • Supervise and lead the asset management team; coordinate with construction, procurement, HSE, and project management units.
  • Ensure all assets comply with company policy, local and international safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage asset inventories and maintain accurate digital records using asset management and tracking software.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for asset purchase, maintenance, and replacement; control costs and deliver regular status and performance reports to senior management.
  • Lead asset audits and inspections, managing all associated documentation, insurance, and compliance records.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions—such as IoT, GPS tracking, and preventive maintenance programs—to support operational efficiency.
