Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (CNAPP & EDR)

Experis Luxembourg is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Security Engineer specializing in CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform) and EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) to join our client’s team. This role will support system administration teams across diverse enterprise environments, focusing on ensuring the security and efficiency of client and server endpoints. Key responsibilities include maintaining and optimizing CNAPP/EDR tools and services, with a particular focus on CNAPP for container and cloud-native security solutions.

Your responsibilities :

• Provide technical assistance to system administration teams in deploying and managing CNAPP and EDR agents across enterprise environments, including:

1. On-premises and public cloud (AWS, Azure) environments
2. Client and server endpoints, including physical hosts, VMs, VDIs, and containers
3. Various operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS)

• Test, maintain, and document security policies for CNAPP and EDR solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and vendors to ensure uptime and maintenance of CNAPP and EDR tools.
• Focus on CNAPP to deploy, maintain, and optimize container and cloud-native security solutions.
• Enhance services by refining and documenting security policies and procedures for CNAPP and EDR.
• Define and enforce security policies for containers, hosts, and orchestrators (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Conduct regular audits and security assessments to maintain a strong security posture.
• Integrate CNAPP tools with other security platforms for comprehensive protection.
• Monitor and optimize CNAPP tools to ensure minimal impact on system resources while upholding security standards.

Your profile :

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• You have 3-5 years of experience in securing cloud-native environments, including containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• You have 2-3 years of hands-on experience with CNAPP tools (e.g., Sysdig Secure) or equivalent, focusing on securing and optimizing containerized applications and cloud-native infrastructure.
• You hame some practical experience with CNAPP tools (e.g., Sysdig, Wiz.io) or similar cloud-native security platforms.
• You are experienced with virtualization and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• You have a good understanding of security principles in cloud environments and familiarity with runtime security tools like Falco.
• You have some hands-on experience with AV/EDR tools (e.g., Carbon Black or equivalent).
• You have a strong background in security engineering, particularly in cloud-native environments.
• You are proficient in troubleshooting networking issues (connectivity, routing).
• You are proficient in scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python.
• You are familiar with vulnerability management processes.
• You are fluent in English.
• You are able to adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies.
• You have a service-oriented mindset with a commitment to meeting SLAs and delivering excellent customer support
• You are able to travel to Luxembourg one week every tree month
