PHP/Laravel Software Engineer

We develop and manufacture our products entirely in-house, while installation is handled by our specialized installation partners. Responsibilities

• Drive innovation by embracing change, improving processes, and contributing fresh ideas;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain internal tools, customer-facing products, and infrastructure;
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend, frontend, and embedded applications;
• Integrate with external APIs and services using REST, real-time WebSockets, and other technologies;
• Apply software engineering best practices to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability;
• Use strong engineering judgment to solve complex problems, from research to implementation;
• Modernize existing applications to align with current industry standards;
• Work with a diverse set of technologies—curiosity and a willingness to learn are essential at Lumosa!

Who you are

• You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience;
• You bring 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role;
• You have strong experience with PHP and Laravel;
• Familiarity with C# and/or TypeScript is a plus;
• You’re comfortable with some of the following technologies: MySQL, RabbitMQ, Docker, MongoDB;
• You thrive in dynamic environments and are always looking for ways to improve;
• You’re a strong communicator and enjoy working collaboratively with others;
• You have experience with testing frameworks and apply best practices in testing;
• You are familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

What we offer you:

• A contract for 40 hours per week;
• Prospect of a permanent position;
