About the Role

We are seeking a PHP/SQL Web Developer to join a growing development team with an international leader in technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining tools to support system monitoring and other business-critical functions.

What You’ll Do

• Develop tools and solutions to support monitoring and business operations.
• Work with large datasets (100GB+) using PHP and MySQL.
• Apply knowledge of backend languages such as PHP8, Node.js, or Python.
• Follow best practices in OOP design, microservices, API design, and refactoring.
• Build applications using modern frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, or Django.
• Implement web application security practices.
• Use containerisation tools (e.g., Docker) to support deployment and scalability.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills:

• 1–2 years’ experience in a related role, placement, or project.
• Strong PHP and MySQL skills with experience handling large datasets.
• Working knowledge of a modern backend language.
• Experience with frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, or Django.
• Understanding of application security and container tools.
• Degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
