About the Role:

Job Title: Python Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications primarily using Python.
• Implement enhancements and required changes for ongoing projects.
• Contribute to production support activities, ensuring smooth application performance.
• Utilize AWS services to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions.
• Apply Java knowledge where necessary to support existing modules or integrations.
• Take full ownership of assigned tasks and deliver without constant supervision.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Python development with real-time project exposure.
• Good understanding of Java concepts and ability to support Java-based components.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.).
• Experience with production support and issue resolution.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with microservices and REST API development.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL).

Location: Chicago,IL

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90,440 – $109,480 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
