DevOps (platform) engineer

As our new DevOps (Platform) Engineer, you’ll work on real challenges, have real autonomy, and make a real impact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery
• Configure and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Monitor and troubleshoot system and application issues across environments
• Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the entire DevOps lifecycle
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases
• Support and evolve our internal platform to improve the developer experience

Qualifications for the role:

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (preferably on AWS EKS)
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and ELK Stack
• Solid knowledge of AWS architecture, best practices, and cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization concepts
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.
• Strong background in web services, databases, and supporting infrastructure
• Experience working with high-availability and scalable systems
• Excellent English and/or Estonian communication skills (both verbal and written)

PS! This role includes participation in an on-call rotation, shared across the DevOps team. Don’t worry – you’ll only join the rotation once you’re fully comfortable with the role, tasks, and team. As a bonus, everyone on DevOps team taking part in on-call schedule, have Fridays off!
