The Role

As a senior leader in our Data Science group, you’ll design and deliver advanced machine learning solutions that power personalized, AI-driven customer experiences at scale. You’ll work with vast datasets, collaborate with engineers and product managers, and guide the development of production-ready AI systems that serve tens of millions of users.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design, training, and deployment of NLP and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions for customer-facing applications.
• Apply deep expertise in AI/ML to create scalable, high-performing models that solve real business problems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams — engineers, ML specialists, and product leaders — to bring AI features from concept to production.
• Explore and integrate emerging tools and frameworks such as PyTorch, LangChain, Hugging Face, Lightning, and VectorDBs.
• Translate complex research into practical business outcomes and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor and influence peers while promoting best practices in machine learning, experimentation, and responsible AI.

About You

• You’re passionate about NLP, GenAI, and applied ML with hands-on experience fine-tuning or training large models.
• You have experience scaling ML pipelines for both training and inference in production environments.
• You stay at the forefront of research in areas like information retrieval, recommender systems, reinforcement learning, and explainability.
• You’re a creative problem-solver who thrives in undefined spaces and drives clarity through experimentation.
• You’re a leader and collaborator who brings others along in advancing AI innovation.

Qualifications

• Required:
• Bachelor’s in a quantitative field + 5 years’ analytics experience, OR
• Master’s in a quantitative/STEM field + 3 years’ analytics experience, OR
• PhD in a quantitative/STEM field.
• Strong proficiency in Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow) with at least 3 years of applied ML experience.
• 1+ years of cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Preferred:
• Specialized knowledge in GenAI application development.
• Experience with large-scale data systems and distributed ML pipelines.
• Prior research or applied work in NLP, recommender systems, or reinforcement learning.
