We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a GDPR compliance initiative for an initial period of three months.
The project focuses on delivering the next phase of regulatory data retention commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of GDPR-related initiatives, with a focus on the Fileshare workstream.
- Analyse and review user access rights across file servers, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Map and document data flows across systems, identifying risks or gaps in compliance.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, validate, and clarify requirements.
- Provide input into governance and compliance reporting, with actionable recommendations.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory and business needs.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and confident working in compliance-driven environments. Specifically:
- Strong experience in data handling, lineage, and transformation.
- Good understanding of data protection and privacy principles.
- Previous involvement in compliance or regulatory programmes.
- Ability to analyse and map data flows across multiple systems.
- Skilled at identifying and classifying personal and sensitive data in structured and unstructured datasets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
