Job Title: Consulting Engineer (CE4) – L3 Data Center Engineer (Cisco ACI)
Location: Poland – Krakow or Warsaw (Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 1 Year (possible extension)
Start Date: Immediate
Role Overview:
The L3 Data Center Engineer will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex Cisco-based data center infrastructures. The role involves handling escalated incidents, leading root cause analysis efforts, and architecting enterprise-level solutions.
Core Technical Skills & Expertise:
Cisco ACI Expertise
- Deep hands-on experience with APIC, fabric setup, contracts, policies, and multi-site.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for fabric discovery issues, endpoint learning problems, static bindings, bridge domains, and L3Out configurations.
Routing & Switching (Advanced)
- Strong expertise in OSPF, BGP, route maps, redistribution, and peering.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing high-availability networks and failover scenarios.
Cisco Nexus Deep-Dive
- In-depth knowledge of NX-OS, vPC, FabricPath, VXLAN, EVPN.
- Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting with Cisco Nexus 2k/5k/7k/9k.
- Strong knowledge of Multicast routing and its configurations.
- Skilled in ACI device provisioning and upgrades.
Automation & Tools
- Experience working with data formats (XML, JSON) for automation workflows.
- Hands-on with Cisco NSO, Postman, Insomnia, and similar tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years in data center engineering with Cisco solutions.
- Proven track record in L3 escalations and advanced troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE DC) highly preferred.
Engagement Model:
- Follow-the-sun support model across multiple regions.
- Hybrid work setup (3 days onsite in Krakow/Warsaw, rest remote).
