Brand New Role – Lead Full Stack Developer – £100K + Benefits + Shares – Hybrid, London – Educational Tech Platform
You would be working for an EdTech company that helps school children learn real-life skills and the NHS to reduce anxiety and increase mental health.
You’ll also get a share scheme (own part of the company), flexible hours, the option to work abroad for weeks at a time, and 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays.
They are relatively lean engineering team with 12 engineers but overseeing millions of pound in revenue, they've also had a million in funding recently and are expanding the product to America.
Outside of the engineering team the company is 50 people big and has been going for 5 years without any hiccups, and making people redundant. They've got their house in order.
As the Tech Lead, you’d be mainly hands-on, leading a small senior team of 2 engineers, and taking ownership of their cloud architecture with the CTO and other Tech Leads.
The plan for this role is to work side by side with the CTO and help grow/ promote you into an Engineering Manager as the team grows.
The role is hybrid, 2 days a week in the office, based in Shoreditch.
They also offer flexible working hours, meaning you can start at whatever time you like, as long as you work the core hours of 10 am– 2 pm. You choose your hours.
This is a true full-stack role, meaning it’s roughly 50% backend and 50% frontend.
