Release Train Manager

We are seeking a skilled Release Train Manager (RTM) to lead and coordinate Agile Release Trains (ARTs) or multiple agile teams across product lines. You will work with cross-functional teams, product managers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality software and business value.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, system demos, inspect & adapt workshops.

Manage and optimize Agile Release Train (ART) flow and performance.

Support team-level Scrum Masters in resolving cross-team impediments.

Communicate program status, issues, and risks to leadership and stakeholders.

Monitor and track progress using Agile metrics like velocity, capacity, and burn-down charts.

Ensure alignment between business goals, teams, and delivery milestones.

Foster continuous improvement culture within and across teams.

Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices and Lean-Agile mindset.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Agile environments, with 2+ years managing scaled delivery (RTM or equivalent).

Hands-on experience facilitating SAFe Agile Release Trains or similar scaled Agile frameworks.

Strong background in Agile ceremonies, program management, and cross-team coordination.

Excellent organizational and facilitation skills.

Experience with Jira, Jira Align, Rally, Azure DevOps, or equivalent Agile tools.

Preferred Qualifications

SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Agilist certification.

Experience in high-scale enterprise Agile transformation environments.

Working knowledge of DevOps concepts and value stream mapping.

Exposure to Lean Portfolio Management or Enterprise Architecture is a plus.
