Visual Designer

As a Visual Designer, you will be instrumental in auditing and translating our UI Platform libraries into comprehensive, well-organized Figma libraries, empowering internal product design teams. Collaborating with cross-functional teams of Product Designers and Platform Engineers, you’ll ensure the libraries are user-friendly, technically sound, and consistent across platforms.

Contract: 6 months

Location: Dublin city centre, hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit existing UI Platform libraries to catalogue components, patterns, and design elements.
• Build and maintain Figma libraries for internal platforms, focusing on consistency, scalability, and usability.
• Collaborate with Product Design and Engineering teams to align Figma components with our design system principles.
• Develop documentation and usage guidelines for seamless adoption across design workflows.
• Test and iterate on components based on stakeholder feedback to ensure quality and functionality.
• Provide expertise in Figma, supporting team members on best practices for library usage.
• Create components that enhance alignment between design and platform, ensuring a cohesive product ecosystem.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Visual Designer with a strong focus on Design Systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and experience building complex component libraries.
• Ability to audit design assets and create structured, user-friendly design systems.
• Strong eye for detail, consistency, and quality.
• Effective communication and documentation skills to support library adoption.
• Experience with design systems in enterprise-level product environments.
• Familiarity with other design tools like Sketch or Adobe XD.
