Senior Solutions Architect

We are currently seeking a Senior Solutions Architect who will be responsible for designing end-to-end technology solutions that enable seamless, scalable and secure customer experiences across digital channels including websites and mobile apps. The role will act as the bridge between business objectives, user experience needs and technical feasibility, ensuring all digital solutions are aligned to architectural principles, integrated effectively with enterprise systems, and capable of delivering long-term value. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, UX designers, data teams and external vendors to shape and guide product roadmap and delivery.

Our client based in Dubai, is one of the largest multinationals in the region. This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 24 months and is renewable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable, secure, and user-centric digital solutions across platforms (web, mobile, kiosk, etc.).
• Work closely with business analysts, product owners, developers, and vendors to translate requirements into technical solutions..
• Ensure designs align with enterprise architecture principles, digital strategy and operational needs.
• Select the appropriate tech stack and recommend technology components to meet desired outcomes.
• Coordinate solution definition (high level design and low level design) with vendors and IT teams
• Participate in architecture governance forums, design reviews, and vendor evaluations
• Define and ensure the implementation of non-functional requirements
• Design and oversee integrations between digital products and backend systems (e.g. DXP, CRM, loyalty, payments, CMS, CDP, DAM).
• Define APIs, data flows and interfaces to enable seamless user journeys across systems and touchpoints.
• Guide development teams and vendors through implementation of solution architecture.
• Conduct architecture reviews, ensure adherence to design and manage technical risk.
• Define technical standards and best practices to guide development and configuration.
• Review and govern implementation to ensure adherence to architecture and security requirements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, WCAG).
• Collaborate with product owners, digital leads and business stakeholders to understand objectives and constraints.
• Provide expert architectural input during product discovery and planning.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in an accessible manner.
• Participate in RFPs, vendor selection and solution evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with architectural standards, data governance, security and regulatory frameworks.
• Contribute to architectural principles, reference models and technical roadmaps.
• Conduct impact assessments and technical risk reviews.
• Document and maintain architecture artefacts and decisions for knowledge management and auditability.
• Stay informed of emerging technologies, digital architecture patterns and platform capabilities.
• Recommend opportunities for innovation and improvement to digital products and infrastructure.
• Participate in architecture communities of practice and cross-functional design reviews.
• Support performance tuning, system optimisation and capacity planning for digital platforms.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification, Microsoft Azure Solution Architect / AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Agile/Scrum certifications (SAFe architect, Scrum@Scale)
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Familiarity with Digital Experience Platforms (DXPs), CMS, DAM, eCommerce engines, CDP etc
• Deep understanding of integration patterns, API design, event-driven architecture, and microservices
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
• Understanding of data architecture concepts, including metadata, master data, and real-time streaming
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or IT
• 5-7 years of experience
